After...notice anything funny?! Yep, no backsplash:( They made a mistake on their measurements. So, the kitchen won't be finished for another week or so!! And we can't hook up the faucet for 24 hours (this is normal, though). It's been a little anti-climactic, but well on its way to be something great:).

Logann wasn't fazed by any of it. She just loved watching all the men come in and out of the house!!

She is so beautiful and a delight even when she isn't feeling her best!!

Logann had a rough day. She has had a cold since Wednesday. We went for her 9 month doctors appointment yesterday. Her doctor thinks that it's probably just that she is teething. Whatever the case may be, she's had a rough week. She hates anything near her nose!! I'm not sure how she is breathing through it, it's so clogged up:(. She wakes up through out the night crying, which just breaks my heart. What a helpless feeling and this is only teething!!! This parenting thing is NO joke.

She's a trooper, though. She still loves to play, climb on things, walk along the couch, and eat her new finger foods:). It's the best thing, being her momma!!! I would do anything for this little girl!! She is the love of my life.

Where has the time gone?! Logann will be 9 months old tomorrow. We have enjoyed every second of it and can't believe that it's gone by so quickly. Logann is just the sweetest little girl!! She is so curious, fun, smart, cuddly, adventurous...I could go on and on. It's the best thing in the world being her parents!!

RIP Frank the Goat

I forgot to break the news to everyone that our beloved, cantankerous, goat, Frank, died about a month ago. He had a tragic encounter with a tree branch:(. Thanks to our nice neighbors, Casey and Mike, who helped with Logann and with the digging of his grave. Also, thanks to g'pa Pat, who came to help, as well. RIP, Frank!

Finally a new blog!!

Hello!! It's been forever since I've updated this. So, here's the scoop. Logann is having a blast eating all of her new foods, which I made with my new Babycook machine:). So far, we've tried oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, avocado, apples, and pears. All a big hit!
Logann had her 6 month doctors visit. She weighs 16 lbs 7 oz (55th percentile) and is 26.5 in long (75th percentile). She is on the move!! She is rolling across the room, army crawling, and attempting to crawl. She is so fun to watch!

So, Logann went for her 4 month check up with her pediatrician last Tuesday. She weighed in at 14 lbs 9 oz (68th percentile) and 25.25 inches long (80th percentile). She is already wearing her 6-9 mos clothes!! I think we may have a future basketball player on our hands here:). It's unbelievable how fast she's growing. She rolls over both ways now (from her back to her tummy and from her tummy to her back) and she is making all kinds of new noises. She loves her play room and especially enjoys her Jumparoo.

I've gone back to work, which is a huge adjustment, but Logann is getting to spend quality time with her daddy, Grandma Trude, and Grandma Peggy (Grandpa Craig tries to sneak home early from work to spend time with her too!).

We're finally learning how to get her to sleep a little better at night and boy does it feel great to get more than 3 hours of sleep at a time.

We've had tons of play dates with our friends: Rebekah and Lili, Kelly and Lucy, and Casey and Max. And we try to visit Chasin, Valerie, Makena, and Avery as much as possible.

Well, I think I've caught you up on all the fun we've been having. I'll try to do a better job of blogging in the future;).

So, we've run a little short on time lately...Momma had to go back to work:( But, here are a few pictures of our sweet, sweet Logann. She is getting so big: 14 lbs 3 oz and 25.5 in long!! She grows more and more curious everyday! We are so happy and love her more than anything in the ENTIRE world.
